Q. Will it be good?
A. Yes, it will be good.
Q. Will I enjoy myself so much that I’ll want to attend all future events regardless of what’s on?
A. We hope so.
Q. What are the seats like?
A. There are two choices: Upstairs on the balcony you’ll find traditional cinema-style seating, with padded fold-down chairs. If you’d prefer to sit downstairs in the main hall, the chairs are moulded plastic, but we make things as comfy as possible with a variety of plush vintage cushions.
Q. What’s access like?
A. The cinema is on the first floor of the Town Hall, which has lift access. The lift door measures 77cm wide and the lift chamber is 140cm deep. Our volunteers will be glad to help with access should you need any assistance. Reservations for wheelchair spaces or any other special seating requirements aren’t necessary, but can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contacting us on Facebook. We also offer balcony seating which unfortunately is not served by a lift. Disabled toilet facilities are available close to the main hall. The Town Hall is on the main road in the centre of Llangollen, close to several pay and display car parks.
Q. What sort of refreshments will you have?
A. We have a licensed bar serving wine, beers and a selection of soft drinks, as well as delicious popcorn!
Q. I bought a ticket online. Now what do I do?
A. Please print out your E-ticket or save it to your phone, bring it with you on the night and show it to our door person.
Q. I’d like to get involved too, what do I need to do?
A. We’re a small group so we’re always delighted to welcome new volunteers, and particularly so if you have an interest in audio/visual tech but we’d love to hear from people with any and all cinematic interest. Just drop us a line at email@example.com or get in touch via our Facebook page or tweet us @newdotcinema.
